Really enjoyed building this. The parts are excellent quality and the instructions were well illustrated and well written.
The only flaw was the electric motor. It didn’t work, troubleshooting showed the battery voltage was not get to the motor.
Irritating to pay this much and the electric motor doesn’t work. Don’t get the satisfaction of seeing the engine run.
I just finished my 5 cylinder model and was struck with the quality of the castings. I was amazed that all the pre-tapped threads were perfect, not one tight screw. The directions were grate and straight forward. I almost wish they offered a model that could really run! I had fun and you will too.
1. Lubricant item 066 not supplied. I used sewing machine oil. I hope lubricant is supplied with my intended purchase of my next engine!
2. Assembly step 12 a real challenge due to tight threads in crankcase and awkward placement of screws. I was afraid that screw might break off in crankcase.
