    I bought 2 of these as I needd one for an existing engine, but intend building a scratch engine, and this is perfect, also only cost a bit more than buying just the sparks in the uk.

    Retrol HM-01 hit & miss gas engine

    Engine, mounting base, CDI ignition module& wood box shipped without damage. assembly to join the engine to the base was a little bit of a challenge. getting to tighten some of the allen- hex head screws was hard to get around a part of the engine. Hope the wires from the CDI module are long enough to hide it with the battery pack in the box that mounts on the base skids on the side opposite the gas tank. I assume a hole will have to be drilled somewhere in the box for the spark plug wire and the ground wire to exit and will have to install some kind of an ON-OFF switch on the box? Any ideas or photos of a box already installed on the skids would be helpful.What kind of a connector is used to connect the spark plug wire and still be able to pull the rubber boot over the spark plug wire? Again any help or ideas are appreciated. My battery pack has not arrived yet so i can't comment on how the engine runs. the instruction manual talks about adjustments that may be necessary for the engine to run properly but is really vague about that so detailed instructions would be really helpful.
