Have not started to assemble this engine yet. I found the manual on line. One question I have, do you provide an electrical diagram? Thanks, John B.
I bought this for a full kit, yet it's missing the stand and the accessories. I gave it a 4 star because the kit still looks pretty good. But I think they should add information that they couldn't deliver the red grease and should tell us where to buy it.
I have unpacked my FS-L400 kit and it looks very well made. I also checked out the starter kit. I like every thing.But I didn't receive items 33 and 34 from the BOM the grease and thread lock. If they don't come with the kit can I purchase them from you? I will also need more glow plugs (type F) I like to have 4 as I lost the little compression ring from the one that came with the starter kit and I also need information on wiring, fule, and water diagrams and finally some torque specifications. Thanks Dave p.s.I think that the assembly will go well but it may take a while to get it to run 😐
I wish the instructions were a lot better, no torque specs are given for anything. It’s too bad that they can’t have a warehouse in the USA so shipping would be faster.
The machining of the motor was done very well! The only issue I had was the water pump: it does not rotate smoothly. I have been working with it and it is better, but not quite where it should be. The other thing I wasn't happy about, was there was only 1 sparkplug included. Other than that, everything else went together very well. I have not started it yet because of the water pump and needing 3 more spark plugs, but I expect it will run just fine as soon as I get everything finished. It will be a fun toy!!!
