Came in when promised but shipping from China takes a while. Kit was very detailed, and instructions were good enough for my 18 year old Grandson to assemble it in about 4 or 5 hours. He now has a much better understanding of auto engines. My mission accomplished.

I found this project most interesting. I suffer from insomnea and often have problems filling my night hours. I found an outlet by building models.
This was an interesting model to build. The parts were very well laid out, the instructions were very complete and very clear. It was easy to build and took the time to keep me occupied.
Some details:
The kit was very well organized, instructions on the top. One of the other engine kits came with instructions on a thumb drive that was unreadable, computer only wanted to format the defective drive. That engine kit sits on a shelf waiting for something I can do, maybe a waste of money.
Instructions walked through the assembly in a very logical process, the steps led to other assembly steps and were very easy to follow.
No glue was required, the design of the kit made it possible to assemble easily with only a few screws in some locations. I thought this was very well engineered and very well thought out.
Unpacking and assembly took about 6 hours.
I understand that this product was intended to be used for teaching. I think that this product has fulfilled this requirement and only the teacher can screw this up!
I take away one star because of the noise this thing makes.
Some bolt holes didnt line up
Some parts didnt fit to certain components correctly and was moulded incorrectly which led to components not linning up correctly and the instructions were not very clear abd were clearly vauge
Bought this model for my grandsons (8 & 10) for Christmas. They we extremely excited to get it built and running. Once we started there was no stopping. Instructions are clear and concise. You need to read every word and follow precisely. It was a great choice! I'd recommend for a good father/sons/ grandpa evening project.
